HORSERIDING HOLIDAYS
Riders have to meet with te following criteria:
- Maximum body weight rider: 82kg (including riding gear/clothes)
- Maximum BMI (body mass index): 28.5 (weight:height:heigth)
- Minimum age 13years old (<16years acompanniment by an adult)
- Good physical condition
We lead small manageable groups of riders on well trained horses, enabling you to relax and enjoy your ride and the natural beauty of your surroundings. Trekking on the trails through the Livradois Forest offers adventurous riding for both you and your horse. We encounter steep rocky ascents and descents, mountain streams, and trek through pine forests and fields discovering tiny picturesque villages. Because of the challenging nature of the ride, we have chosen a simple riding style ensuring you feel safe and comfortable.
Riding ability
We demand a basic riding ability. You must be able to trot & canter. Please be honest about your experience, weight and height so that we can select the best horse for you and make sure you have an unforgettable experience! Based ride week including a 2 days trail on Thursday and Friday with overnight stay at a comfortable bed & breakfast at 40km of our farmhouse.

A stunning program, requiring good physical health and riding skills. Mountainrides up to 1650m of altitude, openfield canters and steep ascents an unforgatable experience

TRAIL FOREZ: Arrival on Saturday (>15.30hr) for a welcome diner where we will discuss this weeks program.
Sunday introduction with your horse, material (saddle) and other riders, 3 hours ride around Pradis.
Monday, we leave for the 4 days trail up in the Mountains of the Forez. A rather technical trail up to 1100m, rocky undergrounds, steep tracks, and crossing little rivers……After a good night sleep we leave on
Tuesday for the “Col des Supeyres” A complete different world, comfortable undergrounds for fast gallops.. All stress will disappear, only fresh air, you and your horse…
Wednesday we pass by the Lake “Pradeaux”, beautiful highlands, nature on its best. In the late afternoon we’ll arrive in the valley of the river Dore to stay for the night.
Thursday, we cross the river “Dore” and climb up into the forests of Champetieres. Arrival at Pradis in the afternoon.. Tired but satisfied.
Friday enjoy a day off at Pradis before going back home to the “real-world” on Saturday…
*twice a year we’re also riding the Chaise Dieu Livradois TRAIL, during this week we will take you to the west of the Natural Parc.. “the Livradois”, also known as “Auvergnes -Toscany” Lovely gentle landscapes, leaf,- and needle trees, fields, and stunning views. A relaxing journey into all kinds of magnificent colours.
